The following Profile demonstrates the altruism, charitable giving and supportive links which the Livery Companies have developed over the centuries. Today the emphasis of all Livery Companies is the support of the community using their members’ special skills and experience and at the same time, through their charities, giving financial support to a wide range of worthwhile causes, thanks to the benevolence of their members, past and present.
